Convenience
- No travelling to and from the appointment. This whole experience takes less time and can be easier to fit into a busy schedule.
- No stress of having to find a parking space, or worrying about whether the traffic is going to make you late.
- It is easier to fit appointments around a busy work – life schedule
- If you travel for work or business you can effectively take your counselling appointment with you.
Price
- Sometimes counselling is less costly in different areas. For example counselling in London might be £90 an hour and outside of London £50
- There are no additional transport costs, parking, taxi or tube
Choice
- There is a wider range of therapists to choose from, you are not confined to those within travelling distance
In your own space
- You may feel more relaxed in your own space or your own home
- There is no risk of bumping into anyone you might know
- No one else needs to know that you have counselling
Accessibility
- It’s an easier option if the weather is bad, snow or storms etc.
- Its more easily accessible for people with mobility issues or physical limitations
- You can still have counselling if you are feeling unwell with a cold etc.
