Compassionate Counselling Support to Help You Through Life’s Challenges

Many people come to counselling when relationships feel painful or confusing, when trust has been broken, or when anger, anxiety, or emotional stress begin to affect everyday life. Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re navigating a big life change, feeling emotionally stuck, or simply not quite yourself. My counselling services in Plymouth offer a safe, confidential space where you can speak openly, reflect deeply, and begin to move forward at your own pace. As a qualified counsellor, I provide a non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts, understand your emotions, and start to make sense of what you’re experiencing.
Common Reasons People Seek Counselling
You don’t need to face everything alone. Talking therapy can support you with a wide range of personal and emotional difficulties, including:
- Betrayal and broken trust in relationships
- Relationship difficulties and patterns
- Anger and emotional regulation
- Anxiety and stress
- Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or low in mood
- Low self-confidence
- Struggling with self-esteem or not feeling like yourself
- Separation or divorce
- Breaking free from unhelpful patterns or limiting beliefs formed in early life
- Feeling stuck in repeating relationship patterns
- Managing stress, whether it’s work related, relationship driven, or affecting your daily life
- Processing emotions that have been buried or suppressed, sometimes for many years
Counselling gives you the time and space to process what you’re feeling, gain new insights, and make empowered choices.
What You Can Expect from Counselling
Most of us keep going through life’s ups and downs, holding things together, working, looking after others. But sometimes, we reach a point where we can no longer do it alone.
That’s where counselling can help.
Counselling is a confidential space where you are truly heard, without judgement. It’s your time to pause, reflect, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll work gently to help you:
- Understand your thoughts and feelings
- Identify patterns that may be holding you back
- Develop tools to cope and create lasting change
You don’t have to have all the answers, you just need a willingness to begin. I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward clarity, healing, and growth.
In-person counselling is available at two welcoming therapy locations, depending on what feels most convenient for you.
