Life coaching is about exploring where you want to go and what you want to bring into your life. It’s about being supported and feeling properly heard, working with someone who’s time is devoted to helping you discover the things that are important to you. This Thrivecraft accredited form of life coaching is gentle and intuitive. It’s not about forcing yourself to reach goals by sheer determination and slog but by exploring where your deepest knowing and sense of self draws you. Clearing the blocks that prevent you from being who and where you want to be, so that the journey towards your goal or desire flows naturally and easily.
During these life coaching sessions I will use guided meditation to help you get in touch with your inner wisdom, that deeper part of you that really knows what it wants, aside from your own and others expectations (friends, family, work colleagues etc). These meditations are often very relaxing and at times really eye opening, when you understand what you really desire.
In a six 90 minute session, life coaching course we devote each session to exploring your life and the specific areas you want to work on. These might be particular areas where you can’t seem to get to be where you want, such as:
- Personal relationships
- Work and career etc.
Or coaching can be more general when life’s big changes have happened and you feel you have lost direction and need find your feet again such as:
- Job loss / desiring career change
- Divorce / relationship break up
- or a more general I don’t know what I want or how to move forward from here (this can be quite exciting)

Outlined below is an idea of what the sessions can entail, but of course we are all individuals with different paths and passions so the life coaching we do with you may not follow this exact series, but I hope it gives you some idea of how it might work for you.
Session One – Review
If after the discovery session if you decide to take life coaching, in the first session you’ll be able to reflect back and consider any major milestones and patterns that keep repeating in general or in the particular area you want to explore. Life coaching is not counselling so our focus is very much on where you want to be, but it is helpful to understand where you have been and where you are in the present so you can see where your next steps will start.
Session Two – Re – Envision
The second session is about re-envisioning, identifying where you want to go and what you want to bring into your life.
Session Three – Release
In the third session we work on releasing the blocks that prevent you moving forward as you would like. Blocks in one area of your life can link into other areas too, and when the block dissolves you may find you are able to move forward in several areas that previously seemed stuck. Blocks can be, beliefs and impressions created in your childhood, which are no longer true or appropriate to the adult you are now. They might never have been true, but still influence you today. To help you move past these blocks we use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
Session Four – Re – Commit
In the fourth session we explore the practical steps you can take to bring your vision for your life into reality.
Session Five – Re – Empower
Session five visits the steps that you are taking to move towards living the life you want, whether there are any adjustments to make or options that can help you move forward more easily.
Session Six – Re – Cap
This is where we recap where you have been and where you are heading too. Look at your successes and challenges and your continued steps and plans.
Future life one off Coaching sessions are available after these sessions if you want a session to explore a particular area, or if your finding life not flowing as smoothly as you would like and need to reconnect with that deeper part of yourself again at a later date.
